SSA Assam BRP Recruitment 2021

Block Resource Centre under Samagra Shiksha, Assam is the academic body of the concerned Education Block. A Block Resource Person (BRP) under Samagra Shiksha, Assam works as Resource Person for providing a├žademic support to CRCCS/teachers/students of the schools within the Education Block. BRP will act as a Resource Person in Science/ Mathematics/ Language /Social Science. Each BRP must be well acquainted with basic principle of teaching, qualities of a good teacher, content and methodology, curriculum-syllabus and textbook, child psychology, value education etc.

Offline applications/written applications are invited by Samagra Shiksha, Assam from the intending regular working Asst. Teachers of Government/Provincialised Elementary School and Secondary schools of the concerned district or Contractual Asst. Teachers of Government/Provincialised Elementary School engaged under SSA/Samagra Shiksha, Assam of the concerned district for recruitment as BRP against the vacant posts shown below.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. RP for Science: A serving teacher (regular or SSA contractual) in Government/ Provincialised Elementary School having Post Graduation in Science discipline with Professional degree (B.Ed.) from recognized University / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/ D.Ed.). Minimum, teaching experience in Government/ Provincialised school is 7 years.

2. RP for Mathematics: 
A serving teacher (regular or SSA contractual) in Government/ Provincialised Elementary School having Post Graduation in Science discipline having Mathematics as one of the Subjects at Graduation level with Professional degree (B.Ed.) from recognized University / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Minimum teaching experience in Government/Provincialised school is 7 years.

3. RP for Language: 
A serving teacher (regular or SSA contractual) in Government/ Provincialised Elementary School having Post Graduation in Arts discipline and having Assamese, Bodo, Garo, Bengali, Hmar, Hindi, Manipuri Nepali, Karbi, English as one of the subject at HS/HSSLC level with Professional degree (B.Ed) from recognized University / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed/ D.Ed). Minimum teaching experience in Government/Provincialised school is 7 years.

4. RP for Arts (Social Science): A serving teacher (regular or SSA contractual) in Government/ ProvinciaIised Elementary School having Post Graduation in Arts discipline having Social Science subjects (Political Science., History, Geography, Education, Sociology etc.) at Graduation level with Professional degree (B.Ed) from recognized University / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/D.Ed). Minimum teaching experience in Government/Provincialised school is 7 years.

Experience: 
The teacher must have 7 (seven) years experience of teaching in Govt./ Provincialised /Govt.recognised L.P, Middle and High Schools.

Q1: Who can apply ? 
Regular working Asst. Teacher of Government/Provincialised Elementary School and Secondary of the concerned district or Contractual Asst. Teacher of Government/Provincialised Elementary School engaged under SSA/Samagra Shiksha, Assam of the concerned district only 

Q2: Who can not apply?
Head Teacher/Head Master of a school. If the intending candidate is the only Science Graduate Teacher (AT-Science)/only Hindi teacher/ only Classical subjects teacher of a school. Teacher from the single/ double teacher school. In case, more than one teacher is selected from the same school, candidature of only the highest mark holder candidate will be accepted. The other lower marks holder candidate/candidates will be dropped and his/her/their candidature will be cancelled as and when detected in the greater interest of the particular school. Candidature will automatically be cancelled on submission of any false/fake documents/intormation detected during verification.

How To Apply : 

The candidates will have to apply offline along with the photocopy of all relevant documents to respective District Mission Office of Samagra Shiksha. 

Claims for correction will not be entertained. At the time of interview/verification of documents, intending teachers will have to produce specific working certificate (sample copy of specific working certificate is uploaded at official website- www.ssa.assam.gov.in) to be taken from the Head of the Institution (his/her working school) duly authenticated and countersigned by concerned District authority viz. DEEO/DMC/DI/IS along with all relevant documents in original.

Important Dates : 
Last date of submission of application is 7th February, 2021. Candidates will have to give option of only one Education Block within his/her working district only. However, Samagra Shiksha will be the final authority to decide the allotment of Education Block. Incomplete and incorrect application will be summarily rejected.
